The Imants Root Pruner prunes roots up to 100mm in diameter with no clean up. It can prevent root encroachment under vital areas, eliminating loss of valuable water and nutrients and preventing surface damage. It also has the ability to de-compact tight, narrow areas with ease. Includes unique patented triple-reduction planetary gearbox for smooth, maximum torque drive to rotor shaft. The Root Pruner also features a factory set, torque limiting PTO shaft eliminating all shear bolts & spring clutches

The Imants Root Pruner operates at a fixed depth of 10” and can cut roots up to 6” in diameter.

Larger roots can be removed from the ground but is unnecessary thereby providing root termination with no clean up required.

Use can limit/prevent damage to cart paths, reduce infiltration into greens as well as irrigation equipment and will immediately improve surface water available to the turf.
